Arthromax Diabetic Foot Orthotist Program

Arthromax Certified PnO Program
Arthromax Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist Program

A Six-Month Diploma in Diabetic Foot Orthotics

Program Overview

The Arthromax Certified CPO (Certified Prosthetist Orthotist) Program is a comprehensive six-month diploma designed to equip healthcare professionals and aspiring orthotists with the essential theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical expertise required for the assessment, fabrication, and dispensing of diabetic foot orthotics.

Importance of the Diploma

With the alarming rise in diabetes prevalence in Pakistan and globally, the incidence of diabetic foot complications — especially diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) — is steadily increasing. DFUs are among the leading causes of non-traumatic lower limb amputations. One of the most effective ways to prevent and manage these complications is through appropriate orthotic intervention.

Despite the urgency, there remains a shortage of trained professionals who understand the unique pathophysiology of the diabetic foot and can provide effective orthotic solutions. This diploma addresses that gap by training the next generation of Certified Orthotists with a focused specialization in diabetic foot management.
